Guthrie Cards.....?

For our Australian customers and many other countries - have you heard of Guthrie Cards? You may recall that every baby in Australia has a heel prick of blood taken at birth, and a blood sample is retained. Each state has different retention requirements for these cards.

Do you have a deceased loved-one whose Guthrie Card may still exist? These are quite easy to extract DNA from. You may need to contact the hospital where they were born firstly, or ask them to point you in the right direction for more information.

If you can track them down we can process them. In most cases microarray processing will be an option depending on our quality checks.
